Application guidelines
Applications that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted. In addition, Erasmus Trustfonds has a number of preferences. Projects that meet these preferences are more likely to receive funding.
Who can submit an application?
- The applicant is an academic staff member of Erasmus University Rotterdam
Requirements:
- The application is endorsed by a full professor and the head of the department or faculty dean
- Partial funding of at least 50% is required from other sources, such as Erasmus University Rotterdam, its faculties and/or third parties
- The application is submitted before the application round deadline. You can find all deadlines here
- The project for which funding is requested starts no earlier than six weeks after the deadline
- The amount to be requested is a maximum of €50,000
Preferences:
- Erasmus Trustfonds specifically aims to support those research projects that align with the impact domains of Erasmus University Rotterdam and projects with societal impact. A letter of recommendation demonstrating that the application fits within one of the impact domains, or a recommendation letter from a societal partner, is therefore of great added value
- Projects where a contribution of the Erasmus Trustfonds can function as an accelerator to attract other third party funds are preferred. Please indicate the organization from which you are requesting the contribution, the amount, and the application round.
