About the fund
The chair in Public Philosophy is made possible thanks to the Fonds Publieksfilosofie (Public Philosophy Fund). With public philosophy, philosophical thoughts are transformed into concrete ideas for use in society. The idea is that through lectures, thoughts become available to a large group of people. Besides supporting the chair, the fund also supports other research and education related to this topic.
