About the fund
Research on human happiness has been conducted at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences since 1980. Happiness is a widely used variable in social science research and produces a growing stream of research findings. The World Database of Happiness was set up to provide an overview of the data. In 2007, the Support Fund for the World Database of Happiness was established to secure the preservation of the research collections.
