About the fund
The Elisabeth Foundation contributes to the fight against obesity as well as to better treatment of obesity. This is done by conducting more research on the subject. In addition, tools are created to provide tailor-made advice to both healthcare providers and patients. The objective here is to find which approach has the greatest chance of success. The Elisabeth Foundation currently supports the ObesEcare programme of Doctor Erica van den Akker and Professor Liesbeth van Rossum, who are conducting research into obesity treatment.
