About the fund
The Fonds Rotterdams Studentenverzet (Rotterdam Student Resistance Fund) supports academic research and the publication of a book on students in the resistance during World War II. The Rotterdams Studentenverzet Foundation is the initiator of this fund. Treasurer, doctoral candidate Govert Trouwborst, of the Rotterdams Studentenverzet Foundation, states: “Until recently, our knowledge about what students from Rotterdam did during the Second World War was kept in a fragmented form within the old student associations. This is why the pooling of knowledge provided by the Rotterdams Studentenverzet Foundation is so important. We are grateful that the Erasmus Trustfonds and Erasmus University Rotterdam have embraced this cause!”
