About the fund
In 2018, the Van Beuningen family established the Van Beuningen Fonds (Van Beuningen Fund) through their family foundation Stichting Elise Mathilde Fonds. The Van Beuningen Fonds supports research and programmes that promote self-reliance for both individuals and groups in the Netherlands. Among other things, the fund supports programmes aimed at the personal and social development of students at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. These programmes preferably take place as part of their study programme. The idea is that students meet with organisations and people from the social sector.
